You may have seen people with over 10k followers on Instagram average 100-300 likes and 20 comments on a single post. The follower count feels good for their ego, but it’s really not a good follower-to-engagement ratio.

I personally had the same engagement in the past with a little over 3000 followers. This is a better ratio because the focus should be on building a REAL and ENGAGED following.

The people who converse with you, sign up for your newsletter, buy your services or products, stream your music, etc, are the ones who will buy from you!
